Green is the color for Libra (Sept 23- Oct 22) and is the season we are in now. Libra is ruled by the planet Venus and symbolizes art and music, beauty and the natural world. Libras seek balance and harmony in relationships, fairness, justice, equality, and love. Beauty reflects inner harmony.

This painting was inspired by something a friend said when I wore the necklace pictured below, which I believe is Green Aventurine gemstone. Since I am a person who notices details and remembers the little things, four little words stuck with me, and took root in creativity- then turned and grew into something beautiful and new.

While red is the color of passion, green represents true love, the natural world and cycles of growth.

I started this painting on September 23rd, 2020 and finished it on the September 25th, 2020.
