This project which shows one lesson of a series of five videos, was a team effort. My part in the project involved editing the vector character file in Illustrator to make it more inline with more realistic gender norms of appearance, and to create more life like details in eyes, etc. I was also responsible for background art selection and editing.
The gesture position layers for the arm movement positions were created by a student worker. I was then responsible for assembling the scene in Adobe Character animator, rigging it, and creating the character gestures and subtle movements in the hair, body, walkie talkie, baton, as well as the overall body expressions, facial movements, eye and head motions and all other animations.
It was my job to create the audio files from a provided course script, which included choosing the suitable voice avatar and outputting and editing output using Well Said platform.
All components were assembled in Adobe Premier Pro by me, where audio and video were snyced, background music was blended in, and video b-roll was chosen by me added in to the composition to break up and correlate with the animation. Feedback and critique were solicited by me from the departments video editors, who advised me final changes to timing and details of the b-roll after I roughed it in.
I then rendered the final content as an mp4 using Adobe Media Encoder.
